The human/forest relationship present in My Body Is The Forest, The Forest Is My Body is further explored in this piece. By using the internal fluid of both human (blood) and tree (resin), once again shows the two substances blending into each other are revealed. However, the durability of each material is quite opposite – while resin is durable and over time turns to amber, even after the death of a tree, human blood perishes along with human life. It highlights our own temporary situation and the vulnerability, violence, and destruction that often draw blood outside of our bodies.
