Prologue: Time's Out

Time’s out is an unstable mechanism driven by a motor hidden in a hot carbon iron foot – a subtle memory of “slower” times. The volatile and wobbly, but continuous, mechanism embodies time announcing its withdrawal from the role of framing happenings and events on the Earth, meaning also the end of human residency on the planet.
